More of the same
This one is worth a quick resurrection of LeftyTube to promo.
The BC NDP has released a TV quality advertisement worthy of watching. The BC Liberals locked in a leadership struggle about personality not substance are trying to decide which face to put on the Gordon Campbell legacy.
No one should be fooled that anything will change, except the election date.
Enjoy this video.

Mockvertising
I have briefly resurrected LeftyTube... all to bring you a link to this brilliant voice-over attack on the Campbell Government's habit of wasting your tax dollars on trying to buy your vote.
No idea of the authorship but I hope there are more mockvertisements coming soon.

What's that in his hand?
Is it a snickers bar, a wallet, keys, a phone? Who cares! Shoot now and ask later...
I miss the truth.. The Awful Truth that is. Happily, it sounds like Sicko will provide the needed Michael Moore fix soon. The next DogEatDog film is due out later this year and will likely be just as good as all the other Moore productions.

Creationism Explained
I was so confused until I saw this video.
Now you can see how the world is only 4,000 years old or maybe 4,300 years if you watch more. Lucky you:
Funnnnnnnny.. this viewpoint appears to be shared by Stockwell Day.
Post-script for after the Crooks & Liars hit parade started up. Those of you visiting who might not know about Stockwell Day, Canada's Minister of Public Safety, a leading creationist and the former leader of Canada's governing Conservative Party.
We really need electoral reform in Canada.

Which side are you on! a short to the tune of Billy Bragg
Thanks to Uncorrected Proofs for alerting us to this brilliant piece.
Billy Bragg's cover of "Which Side Are You On?" provides the soundtrack for this video montage of union busting throughout U.S. history.

The Daily Dissidence: Stephane Dion: White and Nerdy
Thanks to the The Daily Dissidence for alerting us to this extra white and nerdy spectacular to the revolutionary sounds of Weird Al Yankovic.
Too bad this Dion guy is a Liberal Party leader. The stuff he says he'll do sounds great, but we know from 13 years of Liberal inaction that what he says isn't what's going to happen.

LeftyTube..
This blog will be a repository for left-wing film on the net.
Some of it will be on YouTube or other online sources, others you might have to rent at the video store.
There may even be some reviews thrown in for good measure.
